We just happened to be taking the Yakima Canyon Road (SR 821) from Ellensburg to Naches when we learned that a cattle drive would be taking place within the next hour or so. The big horn sheep would have to wait! Each year around 200 pregnant cows are moved from their winter pastures near Selah Creek to the Eaton family ranch to give birth. Watching was such a treat!
